Job summary

Swisslog is seeking a Project Procurement Manager AMERICAS to oversee direct materials for New Business and Customer Service across the Americas. You will coordinate with our Product Center and the Category team to align long-term sourcing and supplier strategies.

In this role you will lead negotiations, define the project supply plan, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure quotes, budgets, and specifications meet project goals. Strong English and procurement experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or commercial degree with good technical knowledge.
• Minimal 3–5 years' experience in operational and strategic purchasing.
• SAP R3 MM experience focused on purchasing transactions.

Responsibilities

• Manage all direct materials used in projects for the Americas region.
• Collaborate with Product Center on make-or-buy decisions with long-term goals.
• Lead the project procurement scope in coordination with Category Leads and Global Procurement.
• During Sales phase, participate in the Sales proposal team and establish the Supply Plan.
• Define suppliers with Category Leads, Global Purchasing, and Local Project Team, as applicable.
