AlixPartners in New York, NY is seeking a strategic, commercially oriented Business Intelligence Director to lead the Americas BI Center. You will oversee managers responsible for industry and practice research, delivering insights that support business development and client delivery.

The role partners with regional leaders to align research with the firm’s commercial agenda, set direction, and build trusted advisory relationships. You will champion AI tools and scalable operating practices.

Qualifications

Minimum seven (7) years of experience in business intelligence, market research, or related field.
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred in business, finance, economics, or related field.
Experience leading managers in a complex, matrixed environment and translating business needs into clear research.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop managers across industry and practice research.
Translate business priorities into research and intelligence strategies that support growth and client impact.
Oversee delivery of research, market intelligence, and commercial support across industries.
Champion the responsible use of AI tools and data platforms to improve productivity and insights.
