Solventum seeks an Americas Facilities Manager to lead facilities operations across North, Central, and South America. You will partner with site leaders, EHS, and external providers to deliver safe, compliant, and cost-efficient services. Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher AND 10 years of direct function related experience
  • OR High School Diploma/GED AND 14 years of direct function related experience
  • Eight (8) years of experience in real estate transactions and facilities management
  • Ten (10) years experience managing multi-country portfolios across the Americas
  • Ten (10) years experience in a role requiring strong negotiation, contract, and financial analysis skills
  • Ten (10) years experience managing outsourced service providers

Responsibilities

  • Lead integrated facilities management across Americas sites.
  • Manage hard and soft facilities services, including building operations, HVAC, electrical, mechanical, utilities, maintenance, janitorial, landscaping, mailroom, workplace support.
  • Manage third-party facilities service providers to contractual requirements, service levels, KPIs, SLAs, and financial commitments.
  • Drive preventive and predictive maintenance, work-order management, asset reliability, and CMMS/IWMS and building tech platforms.
  • Partner with site Facilities Operations leaders while maintaining local budgets and accountability.
  • Ensure facilities operations comply with regulatory, EHS, security, quality, and company standards.
  • Support facilities-related capital planning, lifecycle upgrades, and project execution with stakeholders.
  • Develop and monitor operating budgets, forecasts, and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Establish standards, governance, reporting, and continuous improvement across the region.
  • Lead supplier performance reviews and corrective actions.
  • Support business continuity and emergency preparedness.

The Impact You'll Make in this Role

As The Americas Facilities Management Manager, You Will Lead The Delivery And Performance Of Facilities Management Services Across Assigned Sites In North, Central, And South America. You Will Partner With Site Leaders, Business Stakeholders, EHS, Procurement, Finance, And External Service Providers To Deliver Safe, Reliable, Compliant, Cost-effective, And Consistent Facility Operations. Here, You Will Make An Impact By

  • Leading integrated facilities management (IFM) operations and service delivery across assigned Americas sites.
  • Managing hard and soft facilities services, including building operations, HVAC, electrical, mechanical, utilities, maintenance, janitorial, landscaping, mailroom, workplace support, and other site services as applicable.
  • Managing third-party facilities service providers to contractual requirements, service levels, KPIs, SLAs, and financial commitments.
  • Driving preventive and predictive maintenance, work-order management, asset reliability, and effective use of CMMS/IWMS and building technology platforms.
  • Partnering with site Facilities Operations leaders while maintaining clear local budget ownership and service accountability.
  • Ensuring facilities operations comply with applicable regulatory, EHS, security, quality, and company standards.
  • Supporting facilities-related capital planning, lifecycle replacement, infrastructure upgrades, and project execution with Engineering, Real Estate, EHS, and business stakeholders.
  • Developing and monitoring operating budgets, forecasts, cost-saving initiatives, and vendor financial performance.
  • Establish consistent operating standards, governance, reporting, and continuous improvement across the region.
  • Leading supplier performance reviews and corrective actions to improve service, productivity, reliability, and cost.
  • Supporting business continuity, emergency preparedness, critical infrastructure reliability, and escalation management.
  • Leading, coaching, and developing regional facilities team members.
Financial Oversight And Governance
  • Partner with finance teams to ensure accurate reconciliation of payments against leases, contracts, and commitments.
  • Identify and address financial gaps, leaks, and inefficiencies in payment workflows.
  • Develop robust reporting and analytics capabilities to track financial health and process performance.
  • Ensure single source of truth database meets requirements of the business and aligns with partner delivery contracting.
Your Skills And Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher AND 10 years of direct function related experience

Work location:
