Citi Wealth in New York seeks a dynamic equity professional to lead the Americas Equity Advisory function within Citi's Global Capital Markets. The role focuses on idea generation, thematic implementation, and advising clients on their equity holdings.

You will build a direct book of active private banking clients, serve as the key equity resource for internal advisor networks, and partner with Equity Research, CIO, and Trading to ground views in rigorous analysis.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in equity markets, equity research, or equity advisory roles within a financial institution, private bank, or wealth management platform.
• Strong understanding of equity market dynamics, sector analysis, derivatives, and thematic investment frameworks.
• Demonstrated experience advising high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth private wealth clients on equity strategy and implementation.
• Proven ability to generate original investment ideas and communicate them compellingly to both clients and internal audiences.
• Exceptional public speaking and presentation skills — this role requires the ability to command a room, inspire action, and represent Citi Wealth's equity franchise at the highest level.
• Series 7, 63, and 65 (or 66) licenses required (or ability to obtain within a defined timeframe).

Responsabilités

• Equity Strategy & Idea Generation: Own and drive the equity investment narrative for Citi Wealth North America and Latin America, developing and communicating thematic views, sector ideas, and tactical trade recommendations.
• Client Coverage & Business Development: Build and grow a direct book of active private banking clients, serving as their primary equity advisor and point of contact for equity strategy and implementation.
• Advisor Enablement: Serve as the go-to equity resource for Citi Wealth's internal advisor network, providing market insights, trade ideas, and client-ready content for advisor use.
• Leadership & Talent Development: Lead and manage the Americas Equity Advisory team, setting expectations and developing talent.
