Job summary

Continental is seeking a seasoned supply chain leader to oversee demand planning, inventory control, and logistics across the Americas. The role requires strategic thinking, cross-functional collaboration, and a hands-on approach to ensure on-time, cost-efficient delivery.

The candidate will coordinate with plants, distribution centers, and markets to drive service levels, while managing risk and leveraging ERP, JDA, SCORE, and WMS tools to optimize stock and allocations.

Qualifications

• Advanced skills in evaluating complex numerical data, forecasting demand, and making sound, data-driven decisions.
• Experience with end-to-end supply planning and demand planning processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead short- and long-term demand planning for the Americas region, ensuring forecasts align with market needs and supply capabilities.
• Actively participate in regional and global S&OP processes to balance demand and supply plans.
• Set, maintain, and review target stock levels to align inventory with business needs and constraints.
• Coordinate transportation planning across ocean, FTL, LTL, and small parcel flows to optimize cost and service.
• Support RDC operations and network optimization, including capacity sizing and contingency plans.
• Lead, mentor, and develop team members, and communicate priorities during shortages or constraints.
• Define and track supply chain KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
