Job summary

Arup is seeking an Americas Benefits Manager to design, govern, and deliver benefit programs across the United States, Canada, and Colombia. This role partners with global and regional teams to translate strategy into scalable solutions, ensuring compliant, well‑documented programs and excellent member experience.

You will lead strategic design, governance, and operations for health, retirement, wellbeing, and time‑away programs, while managing vendors, budgets, and annual enrollment activities

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience, with strong technical expertise in health, retirement, wellbeing, and time‑away programs.
• Deep knowledge of US benefits with experience across additional countries (Canada and Colombia preferred).
• Experience managing vendors, renewals, and complex benefit processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute an Americas benefits approach aligned with Arup’s Global Benefit framework.
• Evaluate, design, and optimize health, welfare, retirement, wellbeing, and time‑away programs.
• Ensure regulatory compliance across the U.S., Canada, and Colombia at federal/state levels; oversee audits and governance.
• Manage the Americas benefits budget, including forecasting, cost modeling, and reporting.
• Lead annual open enrollment and renewal cycles; manage vendor relationships for value and service.
