We are seeking like-minded and passionate individuals to join our team as Onsite Interpreters supporting Deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals across a variety of settings, including classes, courses, professional development sessions, onboarding/orientations, and networking events. Most opportunities are in-person and located at educational institutions in or near Fall River and New Bedford, Massachusetts.
Demonstrate high-quality ASL - English interpretation in a variety of settings
Ability to handle confidential information and demonstrate industry standard of Code of Professional Conduct
Facilitate effective communication in onsite settings
Maintain a working knowledge and increased understanding of the subject matter to enable effective interpretation for all required disciplines
Demonstrate professionalism in appearance, preparation, and punctuality
Provide stellar professionalism to both internal and external customers
Work collaboratively and professionally with other interpreters during assignments
Minimum of three years of professional interpreting experience
Certificates from either of the following: RID, NAD, BEI, EIPA (3.5 or above)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills across diverse environments
Basic tech fluency to support potential video-based work when needed
