Language Services Associates is looking for American Sign Language interpreters in the Roanoke, VA area. As a member of LSA’s network of independently contracted interpreters, you will facilitate language communication for the Limited English Proficient (LEP) community across a variety of settings. LSA is continuously accepting qualified interpreters for a wide range of assignments.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service
• Adhere to the Code of Professional Conduct, including maintaining strict confidentiality
• Follow all policies and procedures, including professional interpretation protocols and industry‑specific best practices
• Meet clearance requirements as requested by clients
• Report on site to any accepted assignments in a timely manner
• Have access to personal or public transport

Qualifications / Experience

• Associate or bachelor’s degree
• RID certification
• State interpreting licensure (as applicable)
• Fluency in English and American Sign Language
