Join to apply for the American Sign Language Interpreter role at Hanna Interpreting Services LLC.

Hanna Interpreting Services LLC is a language service provider connecting bilingual and multilingual individuals with opportunities as freelance interpreters or translators. Our mission is to bridge communication gaps through compassionate language services.

We are urgently hiring ASL (American Sign Language) interpreters to work as freelance independent contractors. As an interpreter, you contribute to society by supporting language access for all, regardless of English proficiency. You act as your own boss, setting your availability and accepting appointments based on your schedule.

Appointments are typically during business hours, Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm. However, appointments are not guaranteed and depend on demand.

Interpreters earn between $35 - $45 per hour, depending on availability, experience, and demand.

Requirements

• Proficiency in ASL
• Willingness to complete an ASL assessment by a Certified ASL Professional (exceptions for proven work experience or certifications)
• Timely completion of all required documentation
• Flexibility to work in various settings and adapt to different environments
• Located in and authorized to work in the US (no visa sponsorship provided)
• High School Diploma or equivalent
