The Great Lakes Indian Fish & Wildlife Commission seeks two American Marten Hair Snare/Trapping Technicians to support wildlife monitoring in Wisconsin. The positions involve gathering and organizing field data, keeping detailed records, and working in rugged rural conditions.

Housing and field vehicles are provided to enable extended field assignments. Start date is January 2 with an end date of February 28, 2027; there is potential for additional work.

Qualificações

• Experience collecting and organizing field data in an understandable way.
• Ability to live and work in a rural field and office setting.
• Able to carry personal and field equipment in rugged environments.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience collecting and maintaining field data in an organized manner that is easily understood and accessible to others
• Ability to live and work in a rural and remote field and office setting
• Able to carry personal and/or field equipment, and withstand the rigors of a rugged work environment
• Willingness and ability to consistently enact high-performance standards and a strong work and team ethic.
• Ability to use GPS to navigate to and within field sites
