Opportunity

The Host position, located at the AG Retail Flagship Los Angeles location, reports directly to the Cafe Manager. Responsibilities include greeting and seating guests, managing reservations, and supporting the restaurant team. The role requires performance in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment with sound judgment and a positive professional demeanor.

Key Responsibilities

• Greets guests promptly and manages seating to maximize capacity.
• Manages large crowds professionally and resolves service challenges diplomatically.
• Creates and maintains a pleasant dining room and party room ambiance via lighting, music, and table placement.
• Communicates accurate room setup, special requests, and birthday information to the restaurant team.
• Shares information on store and restaurant events with guests.
• Utilizes Zomato reservation and InfoGenesis register systems, along with Microsoft Office, to perform job functions.
• Initiates restaurant staff training opportunities.
• Assists restaurant staff in providing an outstanding dining experience.

Qualifications

• Experience as a restaurant host, hotel concierge, or related customer service position (preferred).
• Computer skills including restaurant reservation and POS systems, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and basic office equipment (copiers/fax) (preferred).
• Experience working with children (preferred).
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
