Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Registered Nurse in Charlotte, NC, to join the Pineville - Surgery: Vascular unit. This full-time position is 40 hours per week with a Monday–Friday 8am–5pm schedule and a pay range of $35.50–$53.25 per hour.

The role requires completion of a Board-approved nursing program, current RN license, and BLS certification, with BSN preferred. You will deliver evidence-based nursing care, document in EHR, and participate in professional development.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the state(s) where services are provided.
• BLS certification required.
• Typically 1 year of clinical nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Engages in governance and quality initiatives to improve care processes and apply evidence-based practices.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care with patients and families.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, mobilizes resources, and collaborates with the care team to influence outcomes.
• Upholds and promotes a culture of safety.
• Evaluates patient, team, and unit outcomes and takes action as needed.
• Administers medications, treatments, and therapies per protocols as required.
• Demonstrates effective communication, feedback, and delegation within the team.
• Pursues professional development and maintains required certifications.
• Adheres to ANA Code of Ethics and ethical decision-making.
• Delegates to RNs, LPNs, and unlicensed assistive personnel as appropriate.
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• May float to other units within the service area.
