Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking an LPN to provide nursing care in the Ambulatory Urology unit at our Minnesota campus. Under supervision of an RN or supervisor, you will participate in patient assessment, care planning, and delivery of care within the patient care plan and organizational policies.

Qualified candidates will have an LPN diploma, current license, and strong communication skills; urology experience is a plus. This is a full-time, day-shift position with standard 80 hours per pay period.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of practical nursing or passed LPN Boards after a defined period in a professional nursing program.
• One year LPN experience within the last five years preferred.
• Urology experience helpful and strong communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• The LPN provides nursing care to assigned patients under supervision of the RN or supervisor.
• Delivers care in accordance with the patient care plan and organization policies.
