Mayo Clinic is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the Ambulatory Urology unit (Gonda 7 South). The LPN delivers nursing care under RN supervision, participates in the care team, and ensures care per the patient care plan.

The role emphasizes strong communication, teamwork, and flexibility in a dynamic clinical setting. Location: Minnesota campus; Schedule: Full Time, Monday–Friday days; Compensation: per-hour rate aligned with experience, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of practical nursing or passed LPN Boards after a defined period in a professional nursing program.
• Urology experience helpful; one year LPN experience in the last five years preferred.
• Excellent communication skills; teamwork; computer skills; EMR systems experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to assigned patients under the supervision of the RN or supervisor.
• Collect data through observation and communicate information to assist RN/provider in assessment and care planning.
• Participate as a member of the healthcare team and accept delegation from the RN/ supervisor and provider.
• Deliver care in accordance with the patient care plan and organizational policies.
