Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) to provide patient care in a ambulatory urology setting within our Minnesota campus. This role reports to a registered nurse or supervisor and emphasizes relationship-based care and collaboration with the health care team.

Responsibilities include data collection, care plan delivery, and adherence to policies. Requires LPN license, BLS, and strong communication skills; full-time, day shifts with Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of practical nursing.
• Current LPN license in applicable state.
• BLS certification or equivalent.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to assigned patients under the direct supervision of the RN or supervisor.
• Collect data through observation and communicate information to assist the RN/provider in assessment and care planning.
• Participate as a member of the health care team and accept delegation accordingly.
• Deliver care per the patient care plan and organization policies.
