Job summary

Loyola Medicine is seeking an Ambulatory Registered Nurse (RN) for a part-time role at our ambulatory care site in Burr Ridge/Tinley Park, IL. The position offers 10- and 12-hour shifts with rotating weekends, supporting Tinley Park and Burr Ridge campuses.

The RN will perform patient assessments, triage, care coordination, patient education, and administrative duties while providing high-quality, compassionate care. Requires IL RN license and BLS; BSN/ADN preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma from an accredited nursing program (BSN/ADN) required.
• BLS provider certification required before hire.
• Current Registered Nurse License in Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Patient Care and Assessment: conduct comprehensive assessments and create care plans.
• Nurse Triage: assess urgency and determine next steps for treatment or referral.
• Care Coordination: collaborate with physicians and providers for treatment and follow-ups.
• Patient Education and Support: educate patients and families on conditions, meds, and lifestyle changes.
• Administrative duties: maintain records, scheduling, and documentation.
