Job summary

USPI is seeking a Surgical Technologist at Charlotte Surgery Center to join a fast-paced ambulatory surgery center team. The role involves scrubbing for procedures, preparing and maintaining supplies, and supporting quality improvement initiatives for patient care.

Ideal candidates will have surgical technician training or experience, with strong aseptic technique knowledge and teamwork skills. Excellent communication with staff, patients, and physicians is essential.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Completion of an appropriate surgical technician program or previous surgical technician experience of at least two years.
• Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center strongly preferred
• Must possess a strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed
• Must be an excellent team player and have the ability to communicate with staff, patients and physicians

Responsibilities

• Scrubs for surgical procedures under direct supervision.
• Prepares and maintains supplies, instruments and equipment for procedures.
• Supports the philosophy, objectives and goals of the Surgery Center and participates in quality improvement activities.
