Qualifications

• Successful completion of a surgical technology education program accredited by CAAHEP or ABHES.
• Experience or training in computer applications preferred.
• Completion of 16 hours of continuing education every two years.

Responsibilities

• Assists in providing care to patients in the operating room.
• Knowledge of proper decontamination, washing, and reassembling of instruments.
• Knowledge of basic instrumentation for various surgical specialties.
