Job summary

Memorial Hermann Surgery Center- Woodlands Parkway is seeking a Surgical Technologist to scrub for procedures under the supervision of the Director of Nursing. You will prepare supplies and equipment, maintain sterile technique, and support the surgical team in a fast-paced ambulatory setting.

The ideal candidate has completed a surgical technician program, strong knowledge of aseptic technique, and the ability to communicate clearly with staff, patients, and physicians.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Completion of an appropriate surgical technician program.
• Strong knowledge of aseptic techniques and surgical procedures.
• Ability to communicate with staff, patients and physicians.
• Ambulatory surgical center experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Scrubs for surgical procedures under direct supervision.
• Prepares and maintains supplies, instruments and equipment.
• Supports the surgical team and participates in quality improvement activities.
