Job summary

Domnovate is seeking a skilled surgical technologist for an ambulatory-surgery assignment in San Rafael, CA. This role centers on preparing sterile supplies and equipment, supporting the surgical team, and ensuring safe patient preparation, positioning and room turnover.

The position is an 8-week W-2 contract with guaranteed 24 hours per week, with no weekends, holidays or call, and a proposed start around late October 2026. Travel reimbursements may apply under Domnovate's policy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and completion of an approved surgical technologist program.
• Minimum five years of relevant ambulatory surgical scrub experience.
• Ophthalmology experience and current BLS certification.
• CST certification is preferred.
• Strong sterile-technique and instrument-preparation; effective surgical-team communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sterile supplies and equipment for procedures.
• Anticipate needs of the surgical team.
• Support safe patient preparation, positioning and room turnover.
• Maintain clear communication with the surgical team.
