Job summary

Colorado Urologic Surgery Center is hiring a Surgical Scrub Tech to scrub for surgical procedures and maintain a sterile field as part of the surgical team. The role requires preparation of supplies, instruments, and equipment, and participation in quality improvement activities.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED with surgical technician training, state/center certification as required, and preferred ambulatory center experience. Strong teamwork and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Completion of a Surgical Technician Program or equivalent.
• Certification as required by state and/or center.
• Experience in ambulatory surgical center preferred.
• Knowledge of surgical procedures and aseptic techniques.
• Teamwork and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Surgical Technologist scrubs for procedures and functions as part of the surgical team.
• Maintains a sterile field during surgery.
• Prepares supplies, instruments, and equipment for procedures.
• Supports quality improvement activities.

Education

High School Diploma/GED; completion of a Surgical Technician Program and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
