Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• At least 1 year scheduling experience in ambulatory surgery or similar setting.
• Must be punctual and able to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Schedule all outpatient surgeries and procedures as requested by physicians.
• Enter patient demographics and insurance information into billing system.
• Contact payers to verify benefits and obtain authorization.
• Coordinate with Nursing leadership to ensure equipment and staff availability.
• Prepare and distribute daily surgery schedules to teams.
• Cross-train to cover front desk duties as needed.
