Job summary

MultiCare in Washington is seeking an RN to join our Ambulatory Surgery Center team on a .75 FTE basis with variable shifts and schedule.

The role emphasizes a multidisciplinary approach, utilizing nursing education and the nursing process in line with hospital policies. You will collaborate with the nursing team to improve care quality, patient experience and cost efficiency, while fostering a learning environment for patients, families and staff.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State or Multistate License endorsement (MLS).
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Current BLS/ACLS Certification.
• One (1) year of acute care experience.
• One (1) year of surgical setting experience.

Responsibilities

• Organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering and evaluating on an ongoing basis.
• Deliver nursing care using the nursing process according to hospital policies, procedures and protocols.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to improve quality of care, patient experience and cost reduction.
• Foster a learning environment for patients/families, nursing staff and health care team.
• Advocate for ethical and holistic care promoting autonomy, dignity and health of diverse patients.
