Job summary

Twin Cities Pain Clinic is seeking a Surgical Admission Unit/Post Anesthesia Care Unit Registered Nurse for our Maplewood, MN Ambulatory Surgery Center. You will support pre-op teaching, meds administration, and patient monitoring across ASC workflows.

The role requires an RN, MN license, ACLS/BLS, and 1 year in an ambulatory surgical center setting, with opportunities to float to Edina and Burnsville locations. Competitive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Nursing; RN license in MN required.
• ACLS through AHA required.
• BLS through AHA required.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and maintains courteous relations with patients and ASC users.
• Oversees nursing practice in the ASC and plans delivery of care.
• Directs other caregivers in providing patient care.
• Reports variances from standard practice to Nurse Manager.
• Provides pre-operative teaching and explains surgical routine.
• Processes patients through the ASC and administers medications.
• Assesses staff skills and availability of resources to meet outcomes.
• Participates in ASC goals and staff development programs.
• Ensures confidentiality and resolves conflicts positively.
• Cross-trains to pre-procedure, intra-procedure, recovery, and pre-procedural calls.
