Job summary

Providence Health and Services is seeking an Ambulatory Surgery Center RN to provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care before, during, and after surgery, coordinating with the healthcare team to ensure safe patient flow.

The role requires an RN license in Washington, BLS certification, and at least one year of surgical or perioperative nursing experience, with duties expanding to supervision and collaboration across departments.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Upon hire: Washington Registered Nurse License.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS – American Heart Association.
• 1 year Nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Assumes independent responsibility for pre/post phases of surgical care; utilizes the nursing process to provide perioperative nursing care.
• Coordinates total patient care with health care team members and serves as a patient advocate.
• Acts as liaison between physicians, staff, patients and families to ensure safe and effective patient flow.
• Supports nursing standards and contributes to the Mission, Vision and Values of Kadlec Regional Medical Center.

Education

Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
