Job summary

Springfield Clinic is seeking a Registered Nurse for the ASC OR/ARD to deliver professional nursing care in a patient-centered approach. You will work under the Nurse Manager-Operative Services to manage pre-operative assessments, post-anesthesia care, and discharge planning.

The role requires nursing licensure in Illinois, 3–5 years of nursing experience, and current PALS, ACLS, and CPR certifications within specified timelines.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• 3-5 years of comparable nursing experience preferred.
• Licensure as an RN in the State of Illinois; PALS, ACLS and CPR certifications required within specified timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Greet patient and complete pre-operative assessment and orders.
• Provide pre-operative teaching to patients and families.
• Assess and monitor patient during Phase I Recovery and discharge planning.
• Maintain stock and restock supplies; check crash cart and medications daily.
• Adhere to Springfield Clinic policies and provide excellent customer service.
