Job summary

Froedtert Health in Wisconsin is seeking a registered nurse to provide direct and indirect patient care in our Drexel Surgery Center. You will apply nursing process, collaborate with physicians and perioperative teams, and ensure quality and cost containment.

The role requires 1 year of Med/Surg, ambulatory surgery, PACU, or OR nursing experience, and active Wisconsin RN licensure with BLS; ACLS preferred. Full on-site schedule with 8-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Current Wisconsin RN license or a multi-state license (NLC) required.
• BLS required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS preferred.
• Two years nursing education and/or Bachelor’s degree support licensure eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect nursing care using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with physicians and perioperative teams to plan and deliver care.
• Maintain department cost containment, efficiency, and quality of performance.
