Job summary

Tucson Ambulatory Surgery Center in Tucson, AZ is hiring a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver patient-centered care across multiple specialties, including perioperative, critical care, and emergency services, while collaborating with physicians and care teams.

You will assess patients, administer medications, operate life-support equipment, educate families, and uphold infection control and safety standards.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in state or compact state was required.
• BCLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP certifications may be required or preferred depending on unit.
• 0-2 years of clinical nursing experience or student rotations in acute care.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and provides patient-centered nursing care across multiple units.
• Administers medications and monitors for side effects per standards of practice.
• Educates patients and families on conditions, treatments, and discharge plans.
• Maintains infection control standards and safety protocols.
• Documents care thoroughly in the medical record and participates in performance improvement.
