Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license is required.
• Current BLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintained.
• ACLS certification required within 30 days of hire and maintained.
• Minimum of one year as a staff RN in acute care hospital; CCRN preferred.
• BSN degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-procedure assessments to evaluate medical histories and risks.
• Position patient on the operating table for safety and comfort.
• Assist during procedures by preparing patient and supplies and supporting the provider.
• Maintain peri-operative knowledge and provide safe care throughout the patient experience.
