Job summary

MercyOne Health System in Northeast Iowa is seeking an Ambulatory Surgery RN to join the ASU team in Waterloo. You will provide evidence-based, patient-centered care for outpatient surgical patients and supervise a caring team including LPNs and patient care assistants. Full-time position, 32 hours per week, with on-call requirements.

Associate degree required; BSN preferred. Iowa RN license, BLS, Mandatory Reporter, and ACLS are required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing is required.
• BSN is preferred.
• Iowa RN license is required; BLS and ACLS required.
• Mandatory Reporter certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered outpatient surgical care.
• Lead and supervise RNs, LPNs, and patient care assistants in the ASU.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for ambulatory surgery patients.
