Job summary

Fairview Health Services in Minneapolis, MN is seeking an ASC Coordinator/Peri Op Aide to support the ambulatory surgery center with administrative duties and assist the nursing team with patient care and transport. You will manage supplies, coordinate communications, and help maintain a clean perioperative environment.

This full-time position features day shifts, no weekends, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Two years of clinical or patient registration, patient financial services, or health unit coordinator experience in an accredited hospital or surgical center.
• One year of coursework in a healthcare-related educational program.
• Basic Life Support certification.

Responsibilities

• Transports patients to and from perioperative services.
• Performs cleaning of perioperative areas and restocking supplies.
• Provides clerical and organizational support to managers and nursing staff.
• Collaborates with nursing staff, physicians, advanced practice providers, and other departments.
• Maintains stock of office supplies, patient refreshments, and medical forms.
