Job summary

USPI Webster Surgery Center in California is seeking a motivated Clinical Director to lead our Ambulatory Surgical Services. The role oversees day-to-day OR operations and implements process improvements to elevate patient experience and outcomes.

Reporting to the ASC Administrator, you will manage staff credentialing, safety, risk management, budgeting, and policies. The ideal candidate has RN/OR experience and proven leadership in clinical supervision.

Qualifications

• RN/OR experience is required.
• Proven experience as clinical director or in a managerial role.
• Experience in clinical supervision and program management.
• Knowledge of budgeting, resourcing and performance evaluation.
• Familiarity with ISO standards and clinical regulations.
• Proficient with patient management software.

Responsibilities

• Devise strategies and plans for the clinical department according to company standards.
• Plan and oversee budgeting and resource allocation.
• Oversee patient care operations and programs.
• Recruit staff to ensure department is staffed with qualified personnel.
• Create schedules and assign cases for all employees.
• Coordinate and supervise staff providing constructive feedback.
• Provide personnel with clinical training and opportunities for continuous development.
• Evaluate performance and discipline employees when necessary.
• Monitor compliance to legal guidelines, internal policies and quality standards.
