Job summary

USPI Webster Surgery Center is seeking a motivated Clinical Director to lead our Ambulatory Surgery Center operations. Based in California, the role oversees the operating room, drives process improvements, and partners with the ASC Administrator to ensure fiscal accountability, policy development, and excellent patient care.

You will supervise credentialing, safety, risk management, and staff performance, recruit and schedule qualified personnel, and provide ongoing clinical training.

Qualifications

• RN/OR experience required with leadership background.
• Experience as clinical director or managerial role.
• Strong budgeting, resources & performance evaluation knowledge.
• Familiarity with standards (e.g. ISO) and regulations in the clinical field.

Responsibilities

• Devise department strategies to meet service standards and growth.
• Budgeting and resourcing responsibilities.
• Oversee patient care operations and programs.
• Recruit and schedule staff.
• Coordinate staff supervision and feedback.
• Provide clinical training and development opportunities.
• Evaluate performance and take disciplinary actions when needed.
• Monitor compliance with laws and quality standards.
