Job summary

OrthoCarolina is seeking an ASC Registered Nurse (RN) for the Mallard Creek Ambulatory Surgery Center. This role is 40 hours per week, typically 5:00am–7:30pm, with ambulatory experience preferred and PACU experience required.

The RN will coordinate telephone pre-admission assessments and support ASC operations alongside a collaborative team. Qualifications include NC RN licensure, at least two years of ambulatory experience, and BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering excellent service to physicians and patients in a fast-paced ASC setting.
• PACU experience required.
• Strong teamwork and adaptability in perioperative care.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate telephone pre-admission assessments for ASC patients.
• Work as a team member across ASC operations, including turnover and day-to-day tasks.

Demonstrated technical expertise in orthopedic peri-operative nursing and clinical care. This individual will is also be responsible for the coordination of the telephone pre-admission assessment process for patients in the ASC environment.Essential Functions:The RN is able to function as a team member in an ASC environment through cross-training to other primary areas including but not limited to assisting with turnover, and all other aspects of day-to-day ASC operations.Responsible for the coordination of the telephone pre-admission assessment process for patients in the ASC environment.Skills and Abilities:Experience in delivering excellent service to physicians and patients and participating in high-performing teamsThe ability to function as a team member in an ASC environment through cross-training to other primary areas including but not limited to assisting with turnover, and all other aspects of day-to-day ASC operationsQualifications:Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing, College or University.Current License/registration by NC as a registered Nurse.At least two years’ experience in either ambulatory experience required.
