Job summary

OrthoCarolina is seeking an ASC Registered Nurse (RN) at Mallard Creek Ambulatory Surgery Center in Charlotte, NC. The RN will provide orthopedic peri-operative nursing care and coordinate pre-admission telephone assessments.

The position is 40 hours per week, typically 5:00am–7:30pm. Ambulatory experience is preferred; PACU experience is required. Active NC RN license and BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications are required, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and community care.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coordinate telephone pre-admission assessments for ASC patients.
• Provide orthopedic peri-operative nursing care in ASC setting.

This individual will is also be responsible for the coordination of the telephone pre-admission assessment process for patients in the ASC environment.Essential Functions:The RN is able to function as a team member in an ASC environment through cross-training to other primary areas including but not limited to assisting with turnover, and all other aspects of day-to-day ASC operations.Responsible for the coordination of the telephone pre-admission assessment process for patients in the ASC environment.Skills and Abilities:Experience in delivering excellent service to physicians and patients and participating in high-performing teamsThe ability to function as a team member in an ASC environment through cross-training to other primary areas including but not limited to assisting with turnover, and all other aspects of day-to-day ASC operationsQualifications:Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing, College or University.Current License/registration by NC as a registered Nurse.At least two years’ experience in either ambulatory experience required.
