Job summary

Connecticut Orthopaedic Surgery Center is seeking a Full Time Pre-Op/PACU Registered Nurse to join our patient care team. This position involves direct nursing care in the PACU and the pain management procedure room. Candidates should have PACU/Critical Care experience and relevant certifications. Qualifications

• BLS and ACLS certifications required. PALS within 3 months of hire.
• Knowledge and clinical skills to perform the duties of a Pre-op/PACU nurse.
• Must be able to speak, read and write English.

Responsibilities

• Direct nursing care of patients in the pre-operative and post anesthesia care unit.
• Knowledgeable in perioperative nursing and patient teaching.
• Rotate into the pain management procedure room.
