The role focuses on coordinating new patient flow, triaging calls for spine surgeons and NPs, and ensuring timely, high‑quality care. Requires nursing degree, MD licensure eligibility, CPR, and 2–3 years of clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Associate, or Diploma in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Current Maryland licensure or eligibility to obtain Maryland licensure.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Two to three years of clinical experience preferred.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Completes patient assessments and triages, records patient histories, symptoms, and observations.
• Establishes and implements nursing care plans for each patient through assessment, development, and evaluation of the nursing process.
• Administers injections, provides wound care, and performs catheterizations and point of care testing as needed.
• Administers medications and intravenous solutions safely and correctly. Manages, monitors, and adjusts doses based on protocols and physician instructions.
• Works with patients and families to explain post-treatment care needs and provide follow-up through teaching and referral to external resources.
• Identifies patient care issues, assists in data gathering, proposes solutions, and participates in the evaluation of quality assurance issues.
