UMass Memorial Health in Worcester, MA seeks an administrative professional to support patients with appointments, procedures, and billing in ambulatory settings.
You will verify demographics, collect co-pays, obtain consent, and refer complex needs to the right team, contributing to a compassionate, efficient patient experience. This is a non-exempt, full-time role with a 40-hour work week, typically 8:00am–4:30pm or 8:30am–5:00pm, and a potential signing bonus.

I. Performs a variety of complex administrative duties for patients in need of routine and/or urgent appointments, medical procedures, tests, and associated ancillary services in an ambulatory in/outpatient setting. Assess patients’ needs, including but not limited to, financial counseling, interpreter services, social services and refers to appropriate person or area. Alerts providers to emergent patient care needs.
