Boston Medical Center (BMC) is seeking an Ambulatory Services Representative I to coordinate ambulatory patient access functions, including front-end customer service, patient registration, insurance verification, and appointment scheduling. This part-time role supports the Ambulatory Float Pool with a focus on efficient, patient-centered service.
The ideal candidate has strong English communication, attention to detail, and the ability to balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced clinical setting.
The incumbent is responsible for coordinating all the functions and activities related to ambulatory patient access including, but not limited to: front end customer service, patient registration, insurance/coverage verification, appointment scheduling, charge entry, and a variety of administrative duties in support of department (such as, handling forms, phones, filing, making appointments, photocopying, faxing, mailings, letters, reports, etc).
