Job Details

• We are hiring immediately for full-time and part-time AMBULATORY SERVICES HOUSEKEEPER positions.
• Location: MUSC Columbia-Lancaster MOB - 114 Gateway Boulevard, Columbia, SC 29203. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full-time and part-time schedules. Monday through Friday, 5:00 pm to 11:00 pm. Additional weekend shifts may be required. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: No previous experience required. Willing to train!
• Pay Range: $14.00 to $15.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Perform specialized cleaning duties to disinfect ambulatory healthcare facilities including restrooms, patient areas, exam rooms, and more.

Essential Duties

• Disinfect surfaces with provided chemicals.
• Dust and polish furniture, vents, window sills, and ledges.
• Clean reception glass and entrance windows.
• Move and realign chairs, waste bins, and equipment for cleaning.
• Clean floors, carpets, and upholstery.
• Dispose of trash and biohazardous waste properly.
• Replenish supplies like soap, sanitizer, and paper towels.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and tools.
• Work with alarm systems to arm/disarm.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
