Job summary

Community Health Network's Ambulatory Registered Nurse role is part of the Vascular East Clinic care team in Indianapolis. You will schedule surgeries, triage patients, and educate on vascular disease while coordinating care with other providers.

The position requires Indiana RN licensure and 3+ years of nursing experience; ICU/PCU/PACU or surgery experience is preferred. Weekly travel to CHVH, CHS, and Hendricks is expected; onsite only for now, with potential hybrid in future.

Qualifications

• NLN/CCNE/ACEN/NLN-CNEA accredited nursing program or three years of related nursing experience.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in Indiana as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
• Three years or more of nursing experience required.
• ICU/PCU/PACU or surgery experience preferred.
• Previous medical office/outpatient experience preferred.
• Triage experience a plus.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent team skills.
• Compassionate and caring.
• Accountable and self-directed.
• EPIC experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Scheduling surgery and procedures.
• Triaging patients.
• Entering orders for surgeries/procedures.
