Community Health Network seeks an Ambulatory Registered Nurse for the Vascular East Clinic in Indianapolis. Responsibilities include scheduling surgeries, triaging patients, entering orders, and educating patients on vascular disease and procedures.

The role requires RN licensure in Indiana, 3+ years of nursing experience, and experience in ICU/PCU/PACU or surgery. Offsite travel to CHVH CHS and Hendricks may be needed; hybrid moves are possible in the future.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an NLN/CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA accredited nursing program or equivalent clinical experience.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Indiana (NLC).
• Three years or more nursing experience required.
• ICU/PCU/PACU or surgery experience preferred.
• Outpatient/medical office experience preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Epic experience a plus.

Responsabilités

• Schedule surgeries and procedures as part of the Vascular East Clinic care team.
• Triage patients and educate them on vascular disease and treatment options.
• Enter orders for surgeries and procedures; coordinate care across settings.
• Provide patient education, care coordination and post-operative follow-up as needed.

The Ambulatory Registered Nurse functions as a member of the Vascular East Clinic care team, conducting duties such as scheduling surgery and procedures, triaging patients, entering orders for surgeries/procedures, educating patients on vascular disease and the need for surgery/procedures, care coordination and other related tasks as needed. The primary location is the East side of Indianapolis, but weekly travel is required to offsite locations including CHVH (north) & CHS (south), and every other week to Hendricks (west). There may be an opportunity for this position to move to a hybrid schedule, but currently onsite only.

Exceptional Skills And Qualifications

• Graduate of National League for Nursing (NLN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), or National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA) accredited school of nursing, or three years of related professional nursing experience.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state of Indiana as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
• Three years or more of nursing experience required.
• ICU, PCU, PACU or surgery experience preferred.
• Previous medical office/outpatient experience preferred.
• Triage experience a plus.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent team skills.

• Accountable and self-directed.
• EPIC experience a plus.
