Job summary

• Delivers nursing interventions to patients per the medical plan of care.
• Schedules appointments, tests, and procedures; reinforces physician instructions.
• Provides patient education and documents responses in the medical record.
• Obtains required patient consents/authorizations for research or treatment.
• Triages patient phone inquiries per protocols and documents actions.
