Job summary

Meritus Health's Ambulatory Services is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our outpatient clinics in Hagerstown, MD. This fulltime role supports a variety of procedures and patient education outside the inpatient setting.

You will provide direct nursing care in ambulatory and outpatient settings, assist physicians, prepare patients for procedures, and monitor recovery. Maryland RN license and BLS are required; BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Minimum of one year RN experience.
• Prior surgical services experience preferred.
• Active Maryland RN license or Compact license and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in ambulatory and outpatient settings.
• Prepare, assess, educate, and monitor patients before and after procedures.
• Assist physicians with procedures such as paracentesis, thoracentesis, pain management, and endoscopy.
• Monitor patient conditions and document care in the EHR.
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary team and ensure patient education.
