Job summary

Elliot Health System is seeking a per diem Registered Nurse to deliver compassionate care to patients from basic to complex needs. The role emphasizes using the nursing process within the Elliot Hospital Interprofessional Practice model and adhering to ANA standards and the Nursing Code of Ethics.

Responsibilities include engaging patients and families in care planning, applying current evidence-based practices, and maintaining high standards through critical thinking and collaborative teamwork

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor's of Science in Nursing preferred.
• New Hampshire RN or Compact State RN license.
• Ability to obtain BLS during orientation; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promotes change to support optimal patient outcomes and an effective professional practice environment.
• Involves patient/family in goal setting and planning and communicates that plan of care to patient and family for input; and to colleagues to ensure seamless care across shifts and settings.
• Uses current evidence and relevant national/specialty standards to guide practice and/or performance and identifies areas for improvement.
• Demonstrates competent clinical practice utilizing clinical decision making and critical thinking skills.
