Job summary

The Elliot Health System is seeking a per diem registered nurse to deliver compassionate care from 8:00 to 4:30, collaborating with an interprofessional team to meet patient and family needs. You will work within the Elliot Hospital model to uphold standards of practice and ethics.

Responsibilities include engaging patients and families in care planning, applying evidence-based practices, and maintaining clinical excellence through critical thinking and decision making.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• New Hampshire RN or Compact State RN license.
• BLS qualification during orientation period; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Embraces and promotes change to support optimal patient outcomes and an effective professional practice environment.
• Involves patient/family in goal setting and planning, and communicates that plan of care to patient and family for input; and to colleagues to ensure seamless care across shifts and settings.
• Utilizes current evidence and relevant national/specialty standards to guide practice and/or performance and identifies areas for improvement.
• Demonstrates competent clinical practice utilizing clinical decision making and critical thinking skills.
