Job summary

Novant Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to lead the healthcare team and build an authentic, personalized relationship with patients and their support systems. You will collaborate with physicians to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate a tailored plan of care that promotes optimal health or supports a peaceful death.

You will use evidence-based practice and compassion to guide patients through their health journey, taking responsibility for care within current policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the relevant state.
• 4-year bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant nursing experience preferred.
• Current ACLS, PALS, BAT and DOT credentials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the healthcare team and establish an authentic, personalized relationship with the patient and chosen support system.
• Collaborate with physicians and other team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate an individualized plan of care.
• Utilize best scientific evidence and compassion to assist the patient in navigating their health journey and advocate for care within current policies and procedures.
