Job summary

Novant Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to lead the healthcare team by forming authentic relationships with patients and their support systems. You will collaborate with physicians and staff to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans that promote optimal health or support a peaceful death.

You will use best available evidence and compassion, taking responsibility and accountability for care delivery in line with current policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing is required.
• Current RN license in appropriate state required.
• ACLS, PALS, BAT and DOT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the healthcare team by building an authentic relationship with the patient and family.
• Collaborate with physicians and team to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Deliver evidence-based care to promote optimal health or support end-of-life wishes.
• Accept responsibility, authority and accountability for management of care per policies.
