Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Main Campus seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for ambulatory Internal Medicine. You will assess health status, perform triage, administer medications, initiate CPR, and collaborate with physicians to develop care plans in a fast-paced setting.

Required: RN license (ADN/BSN), BLS, and 1 year of RN experience; LPN or MA substitution considered for current Cleveland Clinic caregivers transitioning within ambulatory roles. BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing (ADN or BSN).
• Current state RN licensure.
• BLS certification per AHA/Red Cross.
• One year RN experience.
• LPN/MA or other clinical experience substitutions considered for internal caregivers transferring into RN role.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care in an ambulatory setting.
• Assess health status and perform nursing assessments and triage.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Initiate CPR and other emergency measures.
• Notify physician or LIP of abnormal findings.
• Assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and equipment.
• Develop, evaluate and document health education for patients and families.
• Travel within the region to support clinics and procedures.
