Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an RN for Ambulatory care at Huntersville Surgery Center. This part-time role supports outpatient procedures, with a focus on safe, high-quality nursing practice in an ambulatory setting.

The RN will perform assessments, develop and implement care plans, and collaborate with the care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes in a private outpatient environment. BSN preferred with a valid NC RN license and BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
• BLS required per policy guidelines.
• Current RN license in the state of work and residence (or NLC state).

Responsibilities

• Collects data pertinent to the patient health or situation.
• Analyzes assessment data to identify diagnoses and issues.
• Develops an individualized plan and implements it to attain outcomes.
• Coordinates care delivery and promotes a safe environment.
• Delegates care activities to appropriate staff per policy.
• Evaluates progress toward goals and outcomes.
• Communicates effectively with patients and team members.
• Collaborates with stakeholders and utilizes evidence in practice.
